Bombolulu workshops was founded in 1969. The mission of the organisation is to Rehabilitate and empower persons with disabilities. The centre works with more than 80 male and female artisans.The activities help them overcome their physical limitations and empower them economically and socially to become fully integrated members of their communities. There are social benefits to the artisans . The non profit organisation produces handicraft of very high standard made by persons with disabilities. It has four sheltered workshops, producing range of jewellery, textile, wood and leather products. Every year , a collection is produced for local ,regional and international markets. The workshops have a production capacity of 250,000 items per annum. Many years of successful exporting have established the workshop as a reliable supplier.

Fashion wear made of Kenyan cotton and hand printed home decor for local and export markets. Leather products such as canvas bags, sandals, leather belts etc for local and export market
